Why bias the book?

I found this book via kindle unlimited and thought it would be interesting to read. Everything was going well until the author decided to make it a book that is bias. I seriously doubt that the advanced beings of the universe care what spiritual path anyone is on. To write 'Embrace your Christianity' biases the book. The advanced beings are greater than that as they accept all people. The book was returned without any further reading.

Needs work to get it right.

This reads like a lot of the stories teenagers wrote on a website I worked for as they started to try their hand at writing. Awkwardly worded sex scenes, dialogue stilted and unrealistic, too much happening so there's no real focus and you can't really dig into the story or characters. However, there is a lot of potential for some very interesting characters and settings, and this could become a really great MC Romance book, but the writing needs quite a bit of polish imho. Probably won't continue with the series.

New writer? No cliffhanger.

I enjoyed the book, the characters were believable and the Danny/Penny relationship developed in a predictable fashion. The book had romance and hot sex between the main characters, action and violence. The other cast of characters leaves openings for future books which I now see she has written. The only knock against this book was the sometimes awkward sentences, they were jarring and made me stop and re-read them. This may be a new writer with a thesaurus handy that they are putting to use but sometimes it's better to say it simpler, even if it's cliche.

The story is -- is there no story. it is about a lot of sex. I am all for sex in books and hot sex but I do like a little story. The main character Danny White Feather is captain of a biker club. The nicest guy and polite you want to meet -- really. The female character is a bore. it could have been more interesting with a little more story. It is a series and there was not enough for me to continue.

About the Author
The author graduated with honors from Sweet Briar College near Lynchburg, VA. After graduating in 1989, she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army, Corps of Engineers. She served in various posts throughout Germany during her tour of duty there, mainly as a platoon leader and a construction officer. Her experiences as a basic training company commander in Ft Leonard Wood, MO are the inspiration for this book. She currently resides near Ft Polk, LA with her husband and two children.

THE MORE INFO YOU GET, THE BETTER YOU FEEL

...and I definitely thought that this book was a good use of money and time. Most IET soldiers have trouble with the physical fitness test and this book helps you focus on what you need to do so that when you get there, passing the PT test is the one big thing that you won't need to worry about. You'll have so much else to worry about that you will be grateful that you can get this one thing off your plate. The plain fact is that BCT doesn't give the Army enough time to get most recruits in shape, so showing up with your push-ups, sit-ups, and 2 mile run at the right level is important. Use in conjunction with other resources. Your recruiter has an interest in seeing you graduate and he/she can also help you.

The training changes so rapidly I am not sure how relevant this kind of book is but it definitely points out some areas to focus on. If you know someone that has gone through basic they could probably tell you the same thing in an hour. Either way, if your going, start running and start your memorization.

If you're looking for that type of read, look elsewhere.

Caught and stripped of his diplomatic immunity, Kent was tried in secret in London and spent the duration of the war in prison. The event was a footnote to history, but the book is not so much about Kent as about the loose environment in which embassies operated in the opening days of World War II. The story is extensively researched, so much so that background information on tangential characters slows down the narrative at times. Impressive!

Unleash Your Psychic Power by Embrosewyn Tazkuvel - a welcome relief.

I was a little skeptical about the validity of the contents of this book . . . UNTIL I read it.

Being a paranormal researcher myself, and up-to-date on psychic phenomena, the ins and outs, the dos and don’ts, and all the scams in-between, I was ready for a none too favorable review. How nice to be disappointed!

What impressed me most [other than Tazkuvel’s obvious knowledge on the subject] was his levelheaded approach to delving into the psychic world by novices. His ‘Err on the side of caution’ approach really got my attention, and admiration. Sound advice backed up with a levelheaded approach into the supernatural realm, which as he points out time and time again, isn’t so much supernatural as it is ‘normal’ – and once you learn the science behind your particular bent, you further unlock the power from within, and without.

This impressive book is very well written; and remarkably - it is comprehensive without being boring. I strongly suggest that you read it from cover to cover BEFORE delving into the supernatural world of Psychic Power – from Channeling to Psychic Self Defense, and Telepathy to [my personal favorite] Lucid Dreams.

To whet your appetite - just let me say this . . . you’ll have fun with the ‘Great Bullfrog Race’ exercise. Trust me!

Very interesting, with some ideas that made me think differently about my own psychic powers.

I suppose the first thing that I should admit before starting this review is that I'm quite skeptical about any claims of psychic powers.

Okay, now that I've gotten that out of the way I can admit that I actually enjoyed this book quite a bit and was surprised at some of the ideas, thoughts and real-world applications that author Embrosewyn Tazkuvel has jam packed into this excellent read. From using the inborn psychic powers that all of us have to increase focus and for self defense, all the way to telepathy and telekinesis, the argument for everyone having innate psychic abilities that he makes is very strong indeed.

The most important question is simply this; does it work? To that I will also answer honestly that, in my extremely recent experience with reading the book and using some of the information I found, it actually might. I don't want someone to purchase this book because I said that "yes, it will help you to be a psychic!" but it did open my eyes to the possibility and, coming from a lifelong skeptic, that's saying something. even more telling is that I plan on rereading it again.

No matter your belief, it's a well-written and extremely interesting book. The author's writing style took a little bit of getting used to but once I had gone through a few pages I found myself unable to put the book down. If you've always been intrigued about whether or not psychic abilities are "for real" or maybe that you have some of your own, this is definitely the book that you want to read. I have no problem recommending it highly.

A great book...a fantastic subject...and an amazing read...:)

I have always believed that there is something more to life and us humans than what is simply set in front of us. I also believe that each and every one of us has powers that we just do not have the understanding to tap into just yet (think about why I can move my ears and you cannot…its easy for me to do…I just use my mind…same could be said about the girl who can start things on fire with her mind, right?). So, it was truly amazing to me that the VERY FIRST line in this book pretty much verified what Ive been thinking and I can tell you from then on…I was hooked.

This book, while of 350+ pages in length, is absolutely awesome. Teaching others to think outside of the box and to look at things from other perspectives is a very hard thing to do, and is the basic ground work for rebuilding a persons sense of beliefs on what is, and isn’t, possible.…this book does all of this and much, much more!

The author takes you on a personal journey throughout his own life and uses those amazing experiences to help you understand and relate to what is going on within you and within your mind.

Once the walls of understanding are torn down and pillars of awareness are rebuilt in their place…information and messages can be received so much better. It takes a special person to receive these messages and to read between all the lines that we call LIFE...
