I am really beyond words. It is a reaffirmation of things I had felt and pondered. My higher self has been guiding me to these realizations but sometimes you need other sources. Why bias the book?

I found this book via kindle unlimited and thought it would be interesting to read. Everything was going well until the author decided to make it a book that is bias. I seriously doubt that the advanced beings of the universe care what spiritual path anyone is on. To write 'Embrace your Christianity' biases the book. The advanced beings are greater than that as they accept all people. The book was returned without any further reading.

Needs work to get it right.

This reads like a lot of the stories teenagers wrote on a website I worked for as they started to try their hand at writing. Awkwardly worded sex scenes, dialogue stilted and unrealistic, too much happening so there's no real focus and you can't really dig into the story or characters. However, there is a lot of potential for some very interesting characters and settings, and this could become a really great MC Romance book, but the writing needs quite a bit of polish imho. Probably won't continue with the series.

New writer? No cliffhanger.

I enjoyed the book, the characters were believable and the Danny/Penny relationship developed in a predictable fashion. The book had romance and hot sex between the main characters, action and violence. The other cast of characters leaves openings for future books which I now see she has written. The only knock against this book was the sometimes awkward sentences, they were jarring and made me stop and re-read them. This may be a new writer with a thesaurus handy that they are putting to use but sometimes it's better to say it simpler, even if it's cliche.

The story is -- is there no story. it is about a lot of sex. I am all for sex in books and hot sex but I do like a little story. The main character Danny White Feather is captain of a biker club. The nicest guy and polite you want to meet -- really. The female character is a bore. it could have been more interesting with a little more story. It is a series and there was not enough for me to continue.

About the Author
The author graduated with honors from Sweet Briar College near Lynchburg, VA. After graduating in 1989, she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army, Corps of Engineers. She served in various posts throughout Germany during her tour of duty there, mainly as a platoon leader and a construction officer. Her experiences as a basic training company commander in Ft Leonard Wood, MO are the inspiration for this book. She currently resides near Ft Polk, LA with her husband and two children.

THE MORE INFO YOU GET, THE BETTER YOU FEEL

...and I definitely thought that this book was a good use of money and time. Most IET soldiers have trouble with the physical fitness test and this book helps you focus on what you need to do so that when you get there, passing the PT test is the one big thing that you won't need to worry about. You'll have so much else to worry about that you will be grateful that you can get this one thing off your plate. The plain fact is that BCT doesn't give the Army enough time to get most recruits in shape, so showing up with your push-ups, sit-ups, and 2 mile run at the right level is important. Use in conjunction with other resources. Your recruiter has an interest in seeing you graduate and he/she can also help you.

The training changes so rapidly I am not sure how relevant this kind of book is but it definitely points out some areas to focus on. If you know someone that has gone through basic they could probably tell you the same thing in an hour. Either way, if your going, start running and start your memorization.

Thiebes roadmaps the pitfalls to avoid, and how to overcome bumps in the road. It's a how-to book, not pleasure reading, nor does it dwelve deeply into the boot camp experience. If you're looking for that type of read, look elsewhere.
