The manual ,in roughly 400 pages, presents trauma in a very practical way. Each chapter starts with introduction followed by operative tips .Chapters on Lung injury Trachea/Bronchus& Esophagus are particularly unique with clear pictures and diagrams. What make the book more attractive is the clear description of techniques and different algorithms / options facing the trauma surgeon.I liked in particular the detailed discussion in Liver injury and chapters on Trauma Endovascular Management as well as Timing of Ortho interventions/principles of Damage Control Ortho.As a trauma fellow, I found the manual very useful during my daily calls especially the time between operations.

Very helpful text. Succinct and permits quick perusal in between cases. Copious illustrations throughout provide clear pictures of operative techniques. Would highly recommend to any trauma fellow.
